Hydro electric plant for the people of Chapas

TICOFF is working with Operation Mato Grosso to provide electricity for 200,000 people in Chapas, Peru. This programme helps communities within rural areas reduce slash and burn activities for heat and lighting purposes. An average family can use up to one tree each week to provide heat for cooking and light in the developing world.

      Hydro electric plant for the people of Chapas

This programme has the potential to reducing C02 emissions equivalent to the burning of 10 kg of wood per day per family.
