The regeneration and conservation programme explained

Millions of people live in the rain forests, of which there are about 50,000,000 tribal people. They depend on the forests for their food and shelter. Forest land is usually divided into tribal areas where the communities have hereditary. Although the land is not legally theirs, it has been dominated by certain tribes over decades. The burning of trees to create charcoal to sell and cutting trees to harvest the crops is how many of these people make a living. It is for this reason that we believe it is vital to empower, educate and facilitate the people of the rainforest to preserve their home.

The regeneration and conservation programme explained
